The Watchlist feature in the Magic Eden app allows you to keep track of the tokens that matter most to you. Tokens added to your Watchlist will not only appear on the Discover tab for quick access but can also trigger price notifications to keep you informed.
Features of the Watchlist
Add and manage tokens
Add a token to your watchlist from the token details page by tapping the star icon on the top right. When the star icon turns gold, it means the token is now added to your watchlist.
You also add a while on the Tokens page from the Discover tab. Select any token and drag left. This will reveal a star icon that you can tap to add the token to your watchlist.
To remove a token from your watchlist, simply tap the star icon again and the star icon will show as hollow.
Price Notifications
Stay updated on price changes for your Watchlist tokens with push notifications.
Notifications are triggered when the price of a token moves by 5% in a 24-hour period, ensuring you're aware of significant market shifts.
Accessing and managing your Watchlist:
Viewing your Watchlist
Navigate to the Portfolio tab, and select "Watchlist" button on top to see a list of your tracked tokens.
You will also see your watchlist at the top of the Discover page.
How to enable or disable price notifications
To enable or disable notifications for your Watchlist tokens:
Navigate to the Settings page.
Locate the Notifications sections.
Toggle the option for Watchlist Price Alerts on or off, depending on your preference.
FAQs
1. Why are some of my tokens not receiving notifications?
Ensure that notifications are enabled in your app settings under Notifications > Watchlist Price Alerts and also check that notifications are turned on for Magic Eden in your phone's settings.
2. Can I customize the percentage change that triggers notifications?
Currently, notifications are set to trigger at a 5% price movement within 24 hours and cannot be customized.
