The Portfolio in the Magic Eden app allows you to view and manage your tokens and Runes.

Managing your tokens

You can manage which tokens appear in your Portfolio. By default, all tokens and Runes you have a balance in will automatically appear in your Portfolio.

You can manage your tokens and Runes visibility clicking the Edit Visibility button at the bottom of the Portfolio page. It will take you to the Edit Portfolio List page.

A token or Rune is visible when there is a checkmark next to it. It is hidden when there is no checkmark. Toggle between hidden and unhidden simply by clicking any of the listed tokens or Runes.

Avoiding scam tokens

Scam tokens may appear in your Portfolio because Magic Eden app automatically detects and shows all tokens located on your wallet addresses.

While these tokens can not harm your wallet if left untouched, interacting with them can expose you to risks.

What you can do

  1. Hide Scam Tokens: Use the Edit Visibility feature to hide suspicious or unwanted tokens from your portfolio view.

  2. Avoid Interaction: Do not attempt to transfer, sell, or interact with tokens you do not recognize.

  3. Focus on Verified Assets: Always confirm a token’s legitimacy through trusted sources, such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or official project websites.

  4. Verify Contract Address: Match tokens by their contract address. Scam tokens will often use the same name and symbol as legitimate tokens. However, contract addresses are unique and can be used to find the correct token.
