How Rewards Work
Rewards follow a simple flow:
Activity → XP → Levels → Rewards
Complete eligible activities on Magic Eden
Earn XP automatically
Level up as XP increases
Unlock rewards tied to each level
Early levels are designed to be quick and easy to progress through, while higher levels unlock more valuable rewards.
XP Eligible Activities
Users can earn XP through the following activities:
Trading NFTs
Lucky Buy
Opening Packs
Trading NFTs
When a listing is purchased through the marketplace or packs:
Seller (the person who listed the NFT): earns 50% of the XP awarded from the transaction
Buyer: earns the remaining 50% of XP from the transaction
When a listing is purchased through Lucky Buy:
Seller: does not earn XP
Buyer: earns 100% of the XP from the transaction
If no NFT is purchased (for example, if the result is an instant payout):
The buyer receives 100% of the XP, since no seller is involved.
Levels & Rewards
Higher levels unlock larger rewards
Every 10 levels unlocks a milestone reward
The current system caps at Level 50

Reset happens at 00:00 UTC on the last day of the month
Unclaimed Rewards
If you unlock a reward but forget to claim it:
If you do not claim your rewards before the end of month reset, all claimable rewards will be lost

All unlocked rewards appear in your Rewards Inventory, where you can:
View unlocked rewards
Open pack rewards directly
Earning XP
XP is earned automatically through eligible activity on Magic Eden.
Different activities earn XP at different rates.
XP is designed to fairly reflect platform activity.
Please note, you do not need to stake to earn XP.

Do I need to stake to earn rewards?
No. Staking is not required to earn XP or unlock rewards.
What happens if I forget to claim a reward?
Unlocked rewards are automatically claimed at the monthly reset.
When does Rewards reset?
At 00:00 UTC on the last day of each month.
Can I lose rewards I’ve earned but have not claimed yet?
No. Earned rewards are either claimed by you or auto-claimed at the end of the month.
