The hash list, also known as a mint list, is a JSON file used to list your NFT collection on our marketplace. It serves as a comprehensive list of all the NFT addresses associated with your collection.
What is a hash list?
A hash list is a JSON file that contains the necessary information to list your NFT collection on Magic Eden. It includes all the unique identifiers (hashes) of your NFTs and is essential for showcasing your collection on our marketplace. The hash list provides potential buyers with a detailed overview of the NFTs available for purchase.
Generating your hash list
To generate and export your hash list you can use a tool like Snapshot from Famous Fox Federation which can be found here.
First select "Mints" and "Address"
Then simply enter your Candy Machine, or First Verified Creator Address, select Candy Machine or Creator on the dropdown on the right or
Enter your Collection Key, also known as MCC, and select Collection Key on the dropdown on the right.
Then click on the "Load Mints" button.
The hashlist will be generated. To download it in the appropriate JSON format click on the "JSON" button under the Download without listings section. Save the hash list file to your preferred location.
Troubleshooting listings
If you encounter any issues with your listings, such as NFTs not appearing on your collection page or not being verified, you can try a hard refresh.
Perform a hard refresh of your browser by pressing Ctrl+Shift+R (or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). This action will clear the browser cache and reload the page, potentially resolving any display issues with your listings.
Updating your collection
If you have recently minted new items or added items from a new Candy Machine ID since your initial listing on Magic Eden, the new additions may not be automatically included. To update your collection, follow these steps:
Access the Creator Portal on Magic Eden.
Access the Creator Portal (Please note that US users will be redirected to https://creators.magiceden.us). Locate your collection and select the option to update it.
Add the updated hash list containing the new NFTs.
Save the changes to ensure your collection is up to date.
