Magic Eden is excited to introduce the new Bulk Transfer feature, allowing users to seamlessly transfer multiple Ordinals across wallets in a single transaction. This feature simplifies the process of transferring items and saves time for users who wish to manage their NFT collections efficiently. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to perform a bulk transfer on Magic Eden.
Access the "My Items" section
To begin the bulk transfer process, log in to your Magic Eden account and navigate to the "My Items" section. You can usually find this option in the main menu or dashboard.
Select the transfer icon
Within the "My Items" section, locate the items you wish to transfer and look for the transfer icon, which is usually represented by an arrow pointing to the right (➡️). Click on this icon to initiate the bulk transfer process.
Bundle items
After clicking on the transfer icon, a selection menu will appear. Here, you can choose the specific items you want to include in the bulk transfer. Select all the Ordinals you wish to transfer by clicking on each item. As you make your selections, the chosen items may be visually highlighted or marked in some way to indicate their inclusion.
Enter the recipient wallet address
Once you have chosen the items for transfer, you need to enter the wallet address of the recipient. In the designated field labeled "Transfer to", input the accurate wallet address where you want to send the selected Ordinals. Take extra care when entering the address to avoid any errors, as transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.
Initiate the transfer
With the recipient's wallet address entered, you are ready to initiate the bulk transfer. Look for a button labeled "Transfer now", and click on it to proceed.
Confirm the transfer in your wallet
After initiating the transfer on Magic Eden, a confirmation message or prompt will be displayed. Follow the instructions provided to complete the transfer process. Typically, you will need to open your wallet software or extension and confirm the transaction from there. The specific steps may vary depending on your wallet provider, but be sure to review the details of the transfer and approve it in your wallet.
Additional fee for tracking Bitcoin Ordinals transfers
To ensure full transparency and traceability of batch transfers within Magic Eden, we apply a symbolic fee of 1000 satoshis to each Bitcoin Ordinals transfer. This nominal charge allows us to track transactions on-chain, providing users with a record of their transfers.
You have successfully completed a bulk transfer on Magic Eden. Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, the selected Ordinals will be transferred to the recipient's wallet. You can now enjoy the convenience of moving multiple items simultaneously and efficiently managing your NFT collection.
