Cross-chain swaps are a unique feature of the Magic Eden Wallet. This guide will walk you through using the Swap Tab to exchange between different currencies within your wallet.

The Swap tab

The Swap Tab allows you to swap between two currencies. Here’s how it works:

Swap options

On the Swap Tab, you will see options to swap between two currencies.

Currency tickers

Top Currency ('I have'): This is the currency you currently hold and want to swap.

Bottom Currency ('I want'): This is the currency you will receive after the swap.

Swapping process

Select amount

You can choose to swap the minimum amount (Min), half of your balance (Half), or the maximum amount (Max). These preset options are for your convenience.

Alternatively, you can enter a specific amount directly into the number field.

Approximate amount

When you enter the amount you want to swap, the wallet will display the approximate amount of the currency you will receive.

Value in specified currency

The approximate value of the currency you will receive is also shown in your specified currency.

Switching Swap pairs

Use the two arrows to switch the swap pairs.

Swap settings

Click the gear icon to access Swap settings. Refer to this article for more information.

Swap execution

Third-party providers

Swaps are facilitated through third-party providers.

Network fee

The associated network fee will be displayed.

Proceed with swap

If you are happy with the swap amounts, click the pink "Swap" button to proceed.

Post-swap activity

History

Once successful, you will see the swap activity in your history.

Details

This section includes important information such as the Order ID, Deposit ID, and the status of the swap. The status should move from 'Pending' to 'Completed' after the required number of confirmations.

Most but not all currency pairs are available for swapping. Please bare this in mind when initiating your swap.
