$ME Airdrop FAQ: Season 1 Quests

Everything You Need to Know About the Season 1 Quests Airdrop

Updated yesterday

Season 1 concluded on the 31st of March at 11:59:59pm UTC time. All questing activity is counted until this point. This FAQ covers the details of the $ME airdrop, eligibility and what comes next for Magic Eden Quests.

What is S1 $ME Airdrop? How much $ME will be given out?

As part of Season 1, 10 million $ME tokens will be distributed in mid-April based on user rank at the end of Chapter 1 (a 90-day period) which ended at 11:59 pm UTC on March 31.

Rankings are determined by a combination of staking power and quest participation.

Which wallet will my airdrop appear in?

Your airdrop will be received to your ‘claim wallet’. If you participated in Magic Eden’s TGE - this is the same wallet you used to claim your allocation. You can view your claim wallet here. In the Earning tab - it is the wallet that is prefixed with a 🔗 icon.

Who qualified for the S1 $ME Airdrop?

Users who qualified for the Season 1 $ME airdrop are those who actively participated in Chapter 1 by both staking $ME tokens and completing quests. Passive stakers who did not participate in quests will not receive an airdrop!

How was the S1 $ME Airdrop designed?

The Season 1 airdrop was designed to reward active participants in the Magic Eden ecosystem. Users were ranked based on a combination of staking power (amount of $ME staked and lockup duration) and quest participation. A total of 10 million $ME will be distributed to the participants.

Can I change the wallet where my $ME airdrop will go?

No, all amounts will be airdropped to your 'claim wallet.' Please don’t fall for any links or websites directing you to connect wallets.

What if I previously staked but my staking period ended?

You’re still eligible for the airdrop as long as you participated during Chapter 1. Your staking power during that period is what counts toward your final rank, regardless of whether your lockup has ended.

Will some people receive more than others?

Yes. The airdrop is based purely on users' trading volume and staking power. These two factors play into a general rank for each user, and rewards are distributed based on each individual's rank. There will be a leaderboard shown in Season 2 that offers more transparency into people's rank.

If I'm unhappy with my airdrop, who can I speak to?

Please note that all airdrop allocations are final and cannot be adjusted.

What is the benefit of having more staking power?

Higher staking power boosts your rank in the rewards program, leading to a larger share of $ME in airdrops and future emissions. It also reflects your commitment to the ecosystem.

Will there be future $ME airdrops for stakers?

Yes, future seasons are planned, and $ME rewards will continue to be distributed based on user rank—calculated from staking and quest participation in each new Chapter. For the foreseeable future, seasons will continue to run once per quarter.

To clarify, this currently applies to users who are actively participating in quests and staking; passive stakers are not included in the rewards program at this time. However, we’re always evolving our program based on community feedback so things may change in the future.

How can I prepare for S2?

Relax—you don’t have to do anything right now. Season 2 kicks off in mid-April (exact date TBA). Everyone will start fresh in S2—no head starts, even for top S1 participants. At the beginning of the season, you’ll be asked one last time to link your wallets on Magic Eden as we unify several identity systems into one. We’ll also clearly show what actions (like swaps, Ordinals, Solana/ETH NFTs) are boosted for more rewards in the UI when S2 goes live.
