Simple - Rewards are simply based on trading volume and staking power. This means that you can choose to do all activities or focus on 1-2 activities. As long as your overall trading volume and staking power ranks above others, you will get more rewards. Also, rewards are based on individual performance, not a tranche, meaning if two users are both in the top 10% percentile, they may receive different rewards. All in all, we’ve simplified the rewards mechanism so that rewards are purely based on your overall trading volume and staking power.

Only items listed natively on Magic Eden count.
- Aggregated listings from other marketplaces are excluded.
Look for items with the "Eligible for Rewards" identifier on Solana and EVM
Accepted bids and offers qualify for progression
No minimum price requirement for earning rewards
All cNFTs and NFTs from all Magic Eden supported blockchains are eligible

Swap Tokens

Trade cryptocurrencies seamlessly across multiple blockchains using Magic Eden's token swap feature.

Some things to keep in mind:

Both website and mobile swaps count towards rewards
No minimum swap limits for earning rewards
Fiat on/off-ramps (e.g., Moonpay) do not count towards swap activity
All supported blockchains are eligible for rewards
Each completed swap contributes to your overall ranking in the season
Inorganic trading behavior may lead to rank penalties

Trade Runes

Buy and sell Runes using Magic Eden, the most liquid Runes marketplace in the world.

Bids do not count towards this activity. You must buy or sell
No minimum transaction limits for earning rewards
Inorganic trading behavior may lead to rank penalties

Staking Power

You must be staking $ME for your activity progress to count toward your leaderboard rank. Your staking power is calculated based on both the amount staked and the duration of your lock-up period, with longer commitments giving you a higher number. Staking Power is then combined with your trading volume to help determine your overall progress. The higher your staking power, the more it multiplies the impact of your trades.

To maximize your Staking Power impact, make sure to link all staking wallets under the same account account.

Some things to keep in mind:

Staking power is calculated by: amount staked × duration of lock-up
Every activity is tracked against your Staking Power at the time of the event.
- For instance, if you only had 100 Staking Power when you made a Swap, then your Staking Power grew to 500 on a later day, this 500 Staking Power would only be applied to future Swaps.
Link all your wallets through Magic Eden to aggregate your total staking power. There is no benefit to keeping accounts separate. There is no penalty for linking wallets. Maximize the staking power across your accounts to maximize your rewards.
Each wallet can only have one active stake timeframe (e.g., 7 days or 4 years)
Adding more $ME to an existing stake maintains your current lock-up duration
Extending your duration applies to all previously staked tokens, increasing your multiplier
Staked tokens cannot be withdrawn before the lock-up period ends
